It is best to have region, Date/Time settings set to Ireland.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLING STACS SERVER MULTI TEACHER EVALUATION VERSION:

Installation will require a server administrator user name and password or assistance from the network administrator, although the process is very straightforward.

The Server Multi Teacher Evaluation version of STACS shows all the features of STACS but it is time limited and only available by email.

Download the STACSServerMultiTeacherEvaluationInstallFolder.zip from the STACS website. Request the STACSServerMultiTeacherEvaluationMain.zip from the vendor using the request form on the STACS website. Using Windows Explorer or otherwise, unzip your downloaded STACSServerMultiTeacherInstallneInstallFolder.zip.

Copy the STACSServerMultiTeacherEvaluationMain.zip folder supplied by email to the distribution medium.  Unzip this folder and copy the STACSServerMultiTeacherEvaluationMain.exe file to the STACSServerMultiTeacherEvaluationInstallFolder folder. Be aware that you need to have a folder called STACSServerMultiTeacherEvaluationInstallFolder containing a folder called AllSTACSExtrasFolder, a folder called STACSHowToVideosFolder, a folder called STACSSampleTestsFolder and individual files  STACSOffLineTestCreator, STACSServerMultiTeacherEvaluationInstaller, STACSServerMultiTeacherEvaluationMain and STACSServerSitTest.

Connect the distribution medium to the server. Copy the STACSServerMultiTeacherEvaluationInstallFolder folder to the root of the C:\ drive of the server. Open the STACSServerMultiTeacherEvaluationInstallFolder folder and run the STACSServerMultiTeacherEvaluationInstaller (.exe) file found in this folder. This initialises STACS on the server.

If the installer finds an instance of STACS on the local machine, you will be advised on how to proceed. When the installation process finishes, you will need to grant read / write access to the STACS$ folder for everyone using the ‘Share with’ or ‘Grant access to’ function. Copy the STACSServerMultiTeacherEvaluationInstallFolder folder from the backup medium to the root of the C:\ drive of computer where the STACS Server Multi Teacher Main Application (STACSServerMultiTeacherEvaluationMain.exe) will reside. Go to the STACSServerMultiTeacherEvaluationInstallFolder folder on this computer and create a shortcut to the STACSServerMultiTeacherEvaluationMain (.exe) file. Drag or cut and paste this shortcut to the desktop and installation is complete. Do not copy the STACSServerMultiTeacherEvaluationMain.exe file to the desktop, as STACS needs to reside in the install folder to function properly.

Double click the STACS desktop shortcut to start the STACS Server Multi Teacher Evaluation Main application or run it directly from the install folder by double clicking on STACSServerMultiTeacherEvaluationMain.exe file.
